Visioncut/Cushette and GCAL to Co-Sponsor Las Vegas Party To Promote Upcoming Episode In TV Series “Gene Simmons Family Jewels”

NEW YORK, NY ― May 23, 2007 ― VisionCut LLC, creator of the Cushette® Diamond, is partnering with Gem Certification & Assurance Lab (GCAL) to sponsor a party during the JCK Las Vegas Show to promote a prominent role in an upcoming episode of A&E Network’s hit reality series Gene Simmons Family Jewels that utilizes a Cushette Diamond. The celebration of the Cushette Diamond in a “starring” role will be held at the TAO Nightclub in the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas on June 2, 6-8 p.m.

The series Family Jewels, one of A&E’s highest ranked shows, follows the daily lives of legendary rock band KISS co-founder Gene Simmons, his long-time partner, actress-model Shannon Tweed, and their two children.

VisionCut President Michael Schachter filmed a scene featuring the Cushette Diamond that will be shown in an episode this fall. In the scene, Mr. Simmons buys a Cushette Diamond for Ms. Tweed after consulting with Mr. Schachter. GCAL, which certifies all Cushette Diamonds, also plays a key role in the scene.

The Cushette Diamond features 77 facets, compared to 58 facets in a traditional cushion cut. The Cushette Diamond was developed by Mr. Schachter through the exclusive, patented cutting method known as the Rosetta ProcessTM.
